Next Concert

Concert Review NSO ended the 23/24 season on Saturday 6th July in Southwell Minster with a spectacular collection of orchestral blockbusters. Accompanying the thrilling Shostakovich Festive Overture and Mussorgsky's atmospheric tone poem Night on the Bare Mountain, Katie Stillman played Korngold's lyrical, filmic Violin Concerto. Katie was making a welcome return to the Orchestra after a stunning performance of the every popular Bruch Scottish Fantasy last year. The concert ended with an epic orchestral showpiece, the Saint-Säens' Organ Symphony. An audience of over two hundred enjoyed the evening and the Orchestra was directed by Paul Hilliam.
